Business Excellence Awards Nomination

We are honored to be nominated for the Community Builder of the Year award at the GKW Chamber of Excellence! At Reid’s Heritage Homes, it is our mission to build communities that provide strong roots for our homeowners and we’re looking forward to more communities coming to Kitchener Cambridge Waterloo in 2024. Congratulations to all the nominees, we’re looking forward to the Gala in March.
Make-A-Wish Trees of Joy
November 20th, 2023
On Friday, November 20th, our team had the magical privilege of granting a wish with Make a Wish Canada participating in the Make a Wish Trees of Joy event at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. We were paired with a brave young boy named Damien and we designed a tree specifically geared to his interests and things that bring him joy. We heard that Damien was a Harry Potter fan and 6 of our team members worked together over the last month to put together a themed experience and a magical tree in his name. We were all deeply humbled to have this opportunity.
Thank you so much to Make-A-Wish Canada for all the hard work you do and the joy you bring all year long and especially at this time of year.
Poet & Perth Sales Centre is NOW OPEN in Stratford.

Last weekend, we were thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of our New Sales Centre in Stratford for our Poet & Perth Community.
We don’t just build communities, we are one- and it was with the help of many of our trusted trade partners that we were able to complete this beautiful space . We’d like to thank all of the teams and vendors involved who worked diligently and efficiently to bring this space to life. Without their hard work, attention to detail and kindness this would not have been possible. Thank you to everyone who put this together.

Reid's Heritage Homes grants 5 wishes by donating $50,000 to Make A Wish Foundation.

Reid’s Heritage Homes is honoured for the opportunity to support the Make-A-Wish Canada Foundation with a donation of $50,000. This donation will allow Make -A -Wish Canada to grant 5 wishes to incredibly deserving children and their families.
We’re fortunate to be able to continue to touch the lives of the people within the communities where we build as a result of the generous donations we were able to raise through the Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament. Thank you to the team at Make a Wish Foundation for visiting our office today and for all the outstanding work you do!

With over 30 years of extensive experience in Residential Construction, Jonathan possesses a thorough understanding of the construction development process from product design, pre-construction, project management, warranty, and project close-out. Currently, Jonathan oversees all Low-Rise construction teams and projects in South-Western Ontario.

Happy International Women’s day to all the inspirational women at Reid’s Heritage Homes as well as all the other women in our lives! As a home builder, we honour all women working in construction and especially the women on our team that are continuously inspiring, achieving and making things happen for us every day.
In appreciation of all the hard working women in construction, we have made a $750 donation to CAWIC, The Canadian Association of Women in Construction, a not for profit organization formed to enhance the success of women in the Canadian construction industry.

As we prepare to launch the first phase of Poet & Perth, a Townhome community in Stratford, we are so pleased to be supporting the Stratford General Hospital Foundation with a $20,000 donation made towards youth mental health.
At Reid’s Heritage Homes, we don’t just build communities, we are one and a big part of that is supporting the community in which we are building. We're happy to support in a way that will allow all residents to enjoy the many aspects of this endearing and timeless community.

Reid's Heritage Homes raises over $100k at annual Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament

We’re so proud to have raised over $100k this year at our annual Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament! All of this year’s proceeds will go towards supporting youth mental health initiatives in the communities where we live and build.
We would like to give a BIG thank you to our team member, Stephanie Grondinger for her dedication and commitment in planning this event. Stephanie has planned and executed this event over the last several years and has done an incredible job of ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable day while raising money for deserving causes.
We’d also like to give a special thank you to Kevin Fergin, for going above and beyond with an outstanding contribution this year.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
Reid's Heritage Homes was ranked Top High Rise Builder of the Greater Golden Horseshoe!

We are proud to be the number one builder of high rise in the Greater Golden Horseshoe for the second year in a row!
This is inclusive of our Reign Condominium building in Guelph, 2 Condominium buildings at Spur Line Common in Waterloo and 3 Condominium buildings at Lackner Ridge in Kitchener. This is the second year in a row that we’ve achieved this accomplishment and we are so thankful to all of our homeowners who have made this possible for us.
The momentum continues as we work towards launching more projects this fall including buildings 4 & 5 of Lackner Ridge, Wynstone & Hillcrest.

We have had 890 firm home sales in a 12 month period, since June of 2020!
This is comprised of multiple product type sales including mid-rise condominium, detached homes and townhomes.
In celebration, we are donating $8,900 to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation. At Reid’s Heritage Homes, we don’t just build communities, we are one and that’s why it’s so important to us to give back.
A huge thank you goes out to our customers, trades people, team members and site team members for being a part of this outstanding achievement!
This was a team effort and we were able to celebrate with all of our team members including all those on sites with Donuts!

Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament

Since its inception 18 years ago, the Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $1,000,000 in support of local charities, hospitals and children in need. This is all thanks to our golfers and our sponsors. We simply could not do it with out you!
The money we raise at this tournament always goes directly back into the communities we build in, and this year our focus is in support of Mental Health. Guelph General Hospital cared for more than 63,000 patients in its Emergency Department (ED) last year, in a space designed for 45,000. In fact, over the past five years, there has been a 37% increase in visits related to mental health and addictions. The Hospital has a plan to transform the care it is able to provide these patients.
Part of the plan will see the Hospital, working together with community partners, create new space for Emergency Mental Health Outpatient services. These services will act like a ‘step-down’ unit, providing prompt and short-term support, treatment and monitoring for people who don’t need to be admitted for care, but do need intensive follow-up. The services mean they go home feeling safe and supported, and reduces the likelihood that they come back to the ED.
We are excited to work with our community to improve life for those struggling with mental health and addictions issues.
