Reid’s Heritage Group has received the Mayor’s Award For “Excellence In Workforce Training & Development!”
This is awarded by the City of Cambridge to the company that exhibits a continuous learning environment and proven excellence in workforce training and development efforts!
The City of Cambridge considered what Reid’s Heritage Group is doing in training and development and what metrics would support those efforts. The company’s engagement scores from the Aon Hewitt/Queen’s survey completed last year were reviewed and boasted favourably for this component. Focus was also placed on aspects such as Reid’s Heritage Groups’ core values, leadership drivers, continuous education policy, TDRCC’s quarterly meetings and overall total benefits plan which includes health and wellness.
This is an exciting honour for Reid’s Heritage Group. A common goal of the Reid’s Heritage Group of companies is to become one of the 50 best employers in Canada. The Mayor’s Award For Excellence marks a milestone in this journey, and it shows the team is headed down the right path!
The televised reception and an awards presentation will be held on Monday, May 6th and attended by members of the Reid’s Heritage team.
The Mayor, City Council, members of the Economic Development Division and the Cambridge Training & Development Advisory Group will applaud all the winners at this special event.
