Netzerohome 2017 finalist

Reid’s Heritage Homes is excited to have been named a Net Zero Home Award finalist in the 2017 Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) National Awards for Housing Excellence.

To cite the words of CHBA Chief Executive Officer Kevin Lee, “These awards are about excellence and recognizing the very best in Canadian new homes, home renovations, community development and marketing across Canada.”

Reid’s Heritage Homes opened the doors of its Net Zero Discovery Home to the public in September 2015. Located in Guelph, this home is the first to be completed as part of a national demonstration project to prove that Net Zero Energy homes can be built on a community-level scale. The goal is to make Net Zero Energy homes fully accessible and affordable to all Canadians.

Reid’s Heritage Homes is proud of this achievement, and the opportunity to be judged among the best builders in the country.
